Bali się surowych praw i chcieli poczekać, aż ciężko uszkodzony płód umrze, zanim przerwą ciążę.\
Stało się to w środku Europy, w 21. wieku.\
Izabela nie jest jedyna.\
\
Sprawa Valentiny Milluzzo wywołała też poruszenie. W 2016 roku Valentina zmarła we włoskiej klinice, ponieważ lekarze odmówili jej aborcji z "powodów sumienia".
\
\
Wszystkie trzy kobiety prawie na pewno nadal by żyły, gdyby lekarze nie wybrali życia płodu ponad życie tych trzech kobiet.\
\
Bezimienni są tu ponad 20 000 ludzi, którzy umierają każdego roku w wyniku niebezpiecznych aborcji, głównie w Azji, Afryce i Ameryce Łacińskiej.\
\
Wszyscy oni mają imię, mieli życie, rodzinę, partnerów i przyjaciół. Tysiące dzieci traci swoje matki, tysiące rodziców swoje córki.\
\
Żądamy z nimi wszystkimi:\
Ni una menos!\
Ani jednej więcej!\
Not one single more!\

Bezpieczne aborcje to ochrona życia!

Izabela died in Poland because her doctors refused her a life-saving abortion. Intimidated by the country's harsh abortion laws they decided to wait with the abortion for the severely impaired foetus’ heart to stop beating.\
\
Right in the heart of Europe, in the 21st century.\
\
She is not the only one.\
\
In 2016, the case of Valentina Milluzzo received wide attention after she passed away in an Italian clinic as her doctors refused her an abortion based on “conscientious objections”. Valentina was pregnant with twins. One foetus died and Valentina got a severe infection. For several days her doctors stood by to watch how her condition fatally deteriorated, as they were waiting for the second foetus to die.\
\
The death of Savita Halappanavar in 2012 was a crucial case that eventually led to the successful campaign to legalise abortion in Ireland. Savita’s fate is similar to that of Izabela and Valentina. She died from a sepsis in an Irish hospital because her doctors refused to induce her after an examination found that the gestational sac was protruding from her body and a miscarriage would be unavoidable.\
\
It is very likely that all three women would still be alive if the doctors involved had not placed the life of a foetus doomed to die above theirs.\
\
In this post, we cannot name all those 20,000 people that die every year while undergoing an unsafe abortion- most of them in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. But they all have a name, they had a life, a family, partners, and friends. Thousands of children are losing their parent each year this way, thousands of parents are losing their child.\
\
Together with them we demand:\
Ni una menos!\
Ani jednej więcej!\
Not one single one more!\
\
Safe abortions protect lives.
